Paris – Beauvais airport shuttle: routes, times and fares
Beauvais airport lies almost 90 km from Paris, and that journey decides what time you get up, sometimes whether you sleep at all. Here are the two Aérobus routes still running, their times and fares as published on the official websites, and the cases where it is better to spend the night beside the airport.
Which shuttles run between Paris and Beauvais airport?
The official coach link is called Aérobus. Two routes currently run between the capital and the terminals: the A01 from Porte Maillot, the most frequent, and the A04 from La Villette, on reservation only. The network's two other routes, A02 Paris Saint-Denis Université and A05 Disneyland Paris (Chessy), are listed by the airport as "temporarily suspended".

Children aged 4 to 11: €9.90 online on both routes, free under 4. For the A04, the aerobus.fr booking site shows €15.90 and the airport's page €17.90: the price on the booking site is the one you pay.
Porte Maillot or La Villette: which route should you take?
Porte Maillot (A01): flexibility
The stop is at 22-24 boulevard Pershing, 75017 Paris, five minutes' walk from the Étoile. It is served by metro line 1, RER C and E and tram T3b. The ticket desks open from 3.00am to 7.30pm but take cards only; at the airport, both cash and cards are accepted. You can buy a ticket right up to departure, and a return costs €29.90 online against €35 at the desk: booking online saves just over €5.
La Villette (A04): cheaper, but at a fixed time
Coaches leave from the Parc de la Villette Nord coach station, bay 18, 30 avenue Corentin Cariou, 75019 Paris, next to the McDonald's. The access code for the coach station is printed on your ticket. Metro line 7, RER E and tram T3b serve the area. There is no ticket desk, no machine and no sale on board, and the ticket is only valid for the trip, date and time you booked. The route suits travellers staying in north-east Paris who know their timing in advance, not anyone who might run late.
What time should you leave Paris for an early flight?
The airport gives a simple rule: take a shuttle scheduled 3hrs 30 before take-off, and allow 10 to 15 more minutes for boarding from La Villette. Yet the first departure from Porte Maillot is at 3.00am.
For a flight before 6.30am, no shuttle leaves you the recommended margin. The 3.00am Aérobus only just matches a 6.30am take-off; for a 6.00am flight you would need to leave at 2.30am, and that departure does not exist.
Even for a 6.30am flight, you have to be at Porte Maillot before 3.00am, at an hour when most travellers have no way of getting there other than a taxi.
The cheapest fix is to turn the problem around: take the Aérobus the evening before, up to 7.30pm from Porte Maillot, and sleep next to the terminals. The apartments in Tillé are 430–610 metres away on foot, and the ibis budget Beauvais Aéroport is 1.08 km away. In the morning you walk to the terminal as it opens, without depending on any timetable. In the same airport area, the ibis Beauvais Aéroport, The Originals City and Elema Hotels are on the route of the Navette Express, which reaches the terminal at 4.47am.
The sums are quick: an Aérobus ticket at €17.90 plus a night nearby usually costs less than a night taxi from Paris, charged €230 according to the airport's indicative table. Our early-flight guide sets out where to stay depending on your exact take-off time.
Landing late: how late can you still get to Paris?
From the airport to Paris, the A01 Aérobus is scheduled 20 minutes after each landing, with departures between 7.30am and 11.30pm. The coaches wait for the last flights of the day, even delayed ones: you will not be stranded at the terminal.
The problem shifts to the other end. With at least 1hr 15 on the road, a plane landing at 11pm gets you to Porte Maillot after half past midnight. The airport itself points travellers who reach the coach station after the metro has stopped towards the bookable Taxymatch taxi service.
The alternative is to spend the night in Beauvais and travel to Paris the next day, the first Aérobus leaving the airport at 7.30am. The ibis Beauvais Aéroport has a bar open around the clock, and the Navette Express still leaves the terminal at 8.30pm, 10.05pm and 11.05pm for central Beauvais. A taxi into town costs €21 at night.
Train, taxi or private driver: other ways between Paris and Beauvais
The train to Beauvais
TER regional trains link Paris Gare du Nord with Beauvais station in about 1hr 15. You then still have to reach the airport, by bus 6 for €1 or by taxi for €17 by day. Bus 6 only reaches the terminal at 7.55am on weekdays and 9.55am on Sundays: the train is therefore no use for morning flights, unless you sleep in the city centre the night before.
A taxi from Paris
The indicative table published by the airport gives €185 by day and €230 at night for 89 km, a journey of 1hr to 1hr 30. The fare is per car: shared by four, it still comes to €46.25 each by day, more than twice an Aérobus ticket. The same table gives €160 to Roissy-Charles de Gaulle, €230 to Orly and €250 to Disneyland Paris, at the daytime rate.
Shared transfers are also offered from €39.99 per person, around the clock, adjusted to flight delays.
A private driver (VTC)
A private-hire driver booked in advance works at a fixed price agreed before departure, whereas a taxi runs on the meter. It is the most comfortable option for a middle-of-the-night departure, a family with luggage or a late arrival.
